Ten years ago, I began a journey that would change how I see the world — not just as a maker, but as a storyteller, a dreamer, and someone who deeply values the connection between creativity and nature. Over a decade of 3D printing, sculpting, and manifesting wild ideas into reality, I’ve never stopped exploring. And now, to mark 10 years of the legendary 3DBenchy, I’ve created something truly one-of-a-kind — the first state-of-the-art Birdfeeder Benchy.

This isn’t just a remix — it’s a tribute. A sculptural celebration. A vision brought to life.

When Daniel Norée designed the original 3DBenchy in 2015, it wasn’t just about calibration — it was about inspiration. About the thrill of watching plastic take form, the pride in dialing in your machine until everything clicked. Benchy quickly became more than a test print — it became a symbol for makers everywhere.

And now, ten years later, it’s time we honour that legacy — by giving back not just to the maker community, but to the world around us.

So I give you the Birdfeeder Benchy — a meticulously crafted structure that’s entirely made from Benchys. Every wall, every edge, every shape in this design flows from the DNA of that original boat. I stretched, sculpted, and transformed Benchy into elegant walls, sharp corners, and interlocking forms — until it became an architectural wonder built for the birds.

And perched on top? The classic, iconic Benchy. Watching over your garden like a guardian of joy, peace, and creativity.

This piece was born from pure vision — I didn’t start with a blueprint, just with Benchy and a feeling. A calling to create something beautiful, functional, and meaningful. Something that invites people to step outside, slow down, and reconnect with nature. To sit quietly, watch the birds, and remember what it means to be present.

In a world that moves fast, this birdfeeder is a moment of stillness. A celebration of peace. And a symbol of everything 3D printing stands for — innovation, accessibility, passion, and purpose.
