Round and heart-shaped bottoms for weaving with rattan core - called “pedig”.
Rattan core (pedig) is a natural material obtained from the rattan vine.
Suitable for rattan core (pedig) with a thickness of 2.25mm and 2.5mm.
Used for the technique with an odd number of holes:
heart 10x11cm, 15 holes
circle 10cm, 13 holes
MY RATAN CORE BASKETS COLLECTION - HERE (circles, star, turtle, small, big, oval…)
I used it for a technique with an even number of holes:
circle 12cm, 18 holes
oval cca 19x12cm, 26 holes
I changed the thickness to 3mm because 4mm was already quite thick. If you need it thicker or thinner, you can easily adjust the thickness in Bambu Studio on your computer.
All the baskets in the pictures were woven by my grandpa. It's his hobby in the retirement home. That's why I'm making these basket bottoms for him :)
