CD Display Stand
A simple and easy to print display stand for CDs. Works well as both free-standing and wall mounted.
Has a sloped slot for the CDs to make it extra easy to slot CDs in.
Also includes a 9.5cm vertical spacer for easy wall mounting. The 9.5cm gap is what I found to be the most compact vertical distance between display stands without having my fingers touch the display stand above.
Wall Mounting Instructions
Measure where you want the bottom of the first row of display stands to hang, then make a small mark 5.3cm above that point. place your first display stand so you see the mark through the middle nail hole and nail the display stand to the wall.
Level the display stand and then add the 2nd nail. Alternatively, you can add a 2nd display stand flush to the left or right of the first stand. as long as they are level there's no need for multiple nails per display stand. Old buildings with less straight walls, or rougher textured walls might still need a 2nd nail to remove any wobble.
For mounting more display stands above, temporarily place the 9.5cm spacer on the top of a display stand like shown in the last photo. Then add your 2nd row of display stands like you did for the first row. Just make sure to move the spacer along and place it below each display stand you're mounting to make sure your spacing is consistent.
As usual, all files are published under Public Domain, do what you want and have fun :)
PS. If you like the more compact CD stand that's in the bottom of the wall mount example photo, it's by MajorMokoto. A Strong recommend if you just want to store your CDs in a nice way. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6900707
