Ceiling Fan and Light Pull Chain Grips / Ornaments

Amp up your ceiling fan with these decorative pull chain grips. These are a gaming theme with the triangle and X shapes referenced to game controller buttons. The shapes also resemble a fan and a generic light cone to easily recall their individual purpose. For even more nuiance I did the light triangle black / yellow to represent night and day, and the fan x bue and red to represent hot and cold.

The color change occurs at a specific layer so if you don't have an AMS you can manually swap colors, or do all one color.

The profile includes a pause to insert the chain and a ring to keep the chain from migrating off the bed. Use your own or purchase from most places that sell home goods. PLEASE READ THESE POINTS TO ENSURE A SUCCESSFUL PRINT WHEN EMBEDDING THE CHAIN.

• Be sure to push in fully and inspect that the chain ball falls at or below the paused layer height so that the next layer prints smooth and doesn't result in a clash between the nozzle and chain ball.

   

• Do not continue a print if the ball doesn't fit.

   

• The rings are intended to hold the chain in place so it doesn't get tangled and cause damage but it's probably worth the few minutes of watching the print finish to ensure the chain stays in place on the bed.
