Child Lock for Cabinet Door

I designed and installed this cabinet child lock to keep curious(ly) strong toddlers from opening the kitchen sink cabinet.

This is the result of several iterations to maximize durability and functionality.

No issues at all after 3 months, feels very sturdy yet easy to use. I am using the 80mm model for my cabinet.

Every cabinet is different, so a different length might be better for you. See the dimensioned drawing to understand the length I specify for each.

Mount to cabinet door using two #8 screws.
