My door crashed all the time in another cupboard, so I made this stopper which I can install on the cupboard directly behind the door to prevent full opening of the door.

 

The uploaded version fits my setup with 19mm boards (I added .1mm to the cutout which resulted in a good fit), 17mm bumper at 23 degree angle.
