Curved Door Stopper

This door stopper was designed to solve a problem caused by the small curved bump where the wall meets the floor.

In many rooms, builders add a rounded transition between the floor and the wall. Over time, the pressure from my old door stopper pushed against that curved edge and slightly lifted it.

To fix this, I designed a stopper that avoids pressing on that curved section and instead sits on the flat part of the floor.

Dimensions

• Length: 80 mm (without the curve) / 85 mm (including the curved tip)
• Width: 30 mm
• Height: 10 mm vertical rise before the curve, plus ~10 mm additional height along the curved section

Printing

• No supports needed
• Works well in PLA but other filmant could also work

Why I made this

After a few months of use, my previous door stopper started lifting the small curved edge where the wall meets the floor. This design keeps the stopper away from that curve, so it stays stable and avoids damaging the floor edge.
