Darning Mushroom
A simple darning mushroom for repairing socks and other knitted items. Provides a firm surface that makes darning easier and more precise. The removable, screw-on head allows you to swap or create different-sized heads if needed.
The mushroom has a 65 mm wide head and a 100 mm handle. Easy to 3D print and suitable for general knit repair.
Model updated (mark2 printing profile):
- Added a larger 80mm head.
- Added a shorter 60mm handle.
- Added a hollow 100mm handle for storing needles inside.
- Improved the thread profile so it is no longer too tight.
- All heads and handles are cross-compatible; just choose your preferred combo and print!
