This is a replacement part for the Dell Poweredge R730 which replaces a missing SFF (small form factor) drive caddy that can hold 2.5 inch drives either SATA or SAS, it fits in to the drive enclosure but does not have any way to lock the caddy in so this is considered a temporary replacement or for someone who is regularly testing these servers and doesn't have a suitable caddy.
Modelled in Fusion 360 using a stock caddy as a size guide, this is printed with 4 wall loops to make it as sturdy as possible, you can print this out of PLA but its probably better to print out of PETG or ABS given the proximity to hot CPU's
update
16/3/25: revisited this as i found i had to print a few more of them, figured it was time to modify the original file to include a cutout for adding something to prevent dust and debris, this is added just as an extra STL to be downloaded if required
