Description
This is a 3D-printed hook designed to secure a dishwasher drain hose to a wall.
It is designed for hoses with a diameter of 17 mm.
The hook consists of upper and lower parts, allowing the hose to be secured from above.
Installation Instructions
- Preparation: Decide where you want to mount the hook on the wall and clean the surface thoroughly.
- Attach double-sided tape: Apply double-sided tape to the back of the lower hook part.
- Mount on the wall: Press the lower hook part firmly against the wall to secure it in place.
- Attach the hose: Place the dishwasher drain hose onto the hook.
- Install the upper part: Attach the upper part to the lower part to hold the hose securely.
Notes
- To maximize adhesion, make sure the wall surface is clean before attaching the double-sided tape.
Adjusting for Different Hose Sizes
A customizable file has been added to accommodate hoses of different diameters.
By setting the diameter of the hose you will use, you can download the modified model.
Measure the diameter of your hose, then set the hose_diameter parameter to hose diameter + 1 mm before downloading the model.
The generated model will have the same orientation and part arrangement as in the original Fusion 360 design.
Before printing, rotate the model so that the adhesive surface faces downward, and separate the upper and lower parts for printing.
Since the hook section requires supports, please enable supports during printing.
