The Double-slit experiment. 
Great Science project!

An easy to print box with stand to prove light can behave like a wave also known as Youngs experiment.
The box is easy to assemble and only needs a laser, battery box and switch.
The lid and laser holder can be pushed in place and no glue or fixation is necessary. Just make sure the laser is shining through the hole (some adjustments may be necessary). Also focus the laser lens to create the smalles possible laser point.
The battery box can be fixated with some Velcro if wanted but make sure it doesn't block the laser.

Some different slits are provided to see what works best. (depending in printer, settings, filament and assembly, so experiment to your liking)
The slit is created by gluing (epoxy glue) the slit holder and the smaller slit on to eachother. Most slits are designed to use as is but one “0,5mm slit for wire double slit” must be glued with a small electrical wire in the middle (see pictures). This creates two small minor slits and provides normally the best results (depending on…)

To connect the electrical parts:
Soldern the black wires from the battery box and the laser together (put some shrink tube on it upfront to isolate the wires afterwards)
Soldern the red wires to the two push button connectors (and isolate these as well), put three AA batteries in the box and don't forget to set the switch on the battery box to “ON”.
Put everything in the box without the wires coming in front of the laser.

Just put one slit in front of the laser (right side of the box), aim at a bright wall in a dark room and push the button to see the peaks and valleys emerge. But be carefull when using a laser. Don't look into the laser ever! Do not aim at people or animals. Please supervise childeren!
At the left side of the box, three place holders are positioned to keep some other size slits.

In modern physics, the double-slit experiment demonstrates that light and matter can exhibit behavior of both classical particles and classical waves. This type of experiment was first performed by Thomas Young in 1801, as a demonstration of the wave behavior of visible light. In 1927, Davisson and Germer and, independently, George Paget Thomson and his research student Alexander Reid demonstrated that electrons show the same behavior, which was later extended to atoms and molecules. Thomas Young's experiment with light was part of classical physics long before the development of quantum mechanics and the concept of wave–particle duality. He believed it demonstrated that the Christiaan Huygens' wave theory of light was correct, and his experiment is sometimes referred to as Young's experiment or Young's slits.
