Anyone who has had a small child knows that as soon as a baby learns to climb, they start to explore their environment. Exploration prompts them to look through the furniture drawers that are within reach. At first, they find things in the drawers that they can swallow or hurt themselves with. Later, they cause parents a lot of trouble just by unpacking the drawers. This child lock provides a solution to this. There is a version for normal and curved-edge drawers, as well as a short and long version. The lock can be glued with good quality double-sided adhesive tape, or it can also be screwed on. Before applying the double-sided adhesive tape, I usually coat the plastic surface with a thin layer of nail polish, then let it dry and then put the adhesive tape on it. It is much harder to remove.
