I lost one of my Ender 2 Pro footpads, and instead of buying a replacement, I decided to design and print my own. In this guide, I’ll show how I recreated it—from design to installation—while keeping the original softness and even improving the grip. Step 1 – Design
I recreated the footpad in Fusion 360 based on the original shape and size.
Step 2 – Material Printed using TPU 95A for flexibility and vibration damping (similar to stock rubber).
Step 3 – Print Settings
Infill: 8% Gyroid (for softness)
Walls: 2–3
Top Surface: Octagram Spiral (for extra grip)
Step 4 – Print
Print slowly for best TPU results. No supports needed.
Step 5 – Install
Attached using F3 adhesive glue. Apply a thin layer, wait ~30 seconds, then press firmly.
