Filament Cleaner

This is a filament dust cleaner that removes dust from filament. This design does not use magnets to lock the lid but instead features a snap-on mechanism for secure closure. Additionally, it has a structure designed to prevent the sponge from falling off.
 

Required other than printed parts:

• 2× sponge pieces

Notes:

• Print with a layer height of 0.2mm. I have printed it in PLA, PETG, and ABS, and it has worked well.
• The hinge clearance is 0.3mm, which I am confident can be printed accurately with modern 3D printers. If 0.3mm tolerance is too tight, use the 0.4mm tolerance model instead.
• Matte PLA and Silk PLA are not recommended, as the snap-on latch may break along the layer lines.
• The snap-on lock may be tight right after printing, but it will loosen up after a few open and close cycles.
