Filament Spool - Anti Tangling Card

Once upon a time there was a man…

who never had tangled filament spools !!!

The reason for this is no miracle or rocket science… It's just very simple !!!

Just use these little Anti-Tangling-Cards:

Super Fast and Easy Print !

Just 2 Layers thick !

I've been using these every day, on every spool for over 2 years without any issues !!!

After printing attach the card to your filament spool and let it sit there till the spool is empty. In most cases you can print with these attached to your filament even if you are using a filament dust cleaner / filter.

You can choose between 1.75mm Filament and 2.85mm Filament Cards.

There is also a version with both Filament diameters at once.

Every Card comes in 3 different Layer-thicknesses.

1. 0.1mm Layer hight
2. 0.12mm Layer hight
3. 0.16mm Layer hight

I personally prefer the 0.1mm and 0.12mm cards but the 0.16mm works exactly the same !

I also uploaded a version of all cards with a color change and a logo.

1. 0.1mm Layer hight → Use Filament change @ Layer 3
2. 0.12mm Layer hight → Use Filament change @ Layer 3
3. 0.16mm Layer hight → Use Filament change @ Layer 3

Note:

If you want to use the Anti-Tangling-Cards in combination with an Filament-Dryer like the Sunlu S1, S2 or S2+ like I do, I would highly recommend to print these Cards at least out of PETG.

ABS would be the best solution but it is not NECESSARY !!!

This is how it looks like attached (while printing) in my filament dryer Sunlu S2+:

• Best print settings:
• 2 Perimeters
• + your selected Layer hight (0.1mm, 0.12mm, 0.16mm)

I printed mine on the hotter temperature side of my filament without part-cooling fan to get a very strong bond and a good flexibility between those 2 layers. → 215°C for both layers.

and if he hasn't died… then he still has untangled filament spools left ;-)
