Jura Z10 Water Tank Lid for Automatic Refill

My wife recently picked up the Jura Z10 coffee machine. I wanted to make her life a little easier by not having to worry about refilling the tank every other day. I landed on installing a small float valve, but did not want to drill a hole into the tank lid. So, I remodeled the lid with a hole specifically for the valve install along with replacement pins. Install took about 15 minutes with testing the fittings.

BOM:
- This replacement lid
- This float valve kit.
- 10x2mm magnet (I used these)

1. Attach the magnets.
   Glue two magnets each (4 total) in place on the two tabs on the replacement lid. These will attach to the magnets on the side of the machine to aide in holding the tank in place just like the factory lid. Be sure to check orientation before gluing in place.
2. Adjust the top mount float to point downward. 
   Just loosen the small screw, adjust the angle (reference photo provided) to be about 70° and tighten the screw back up.
3. Remove the factory lid. 
   There are pins on each side. You'll need to pull the arm on the inside inward a bit. This will pull the pin out slightly. Let the arm go and there should be just enough space to use a small flathead screwdriver to remove the pin the rest of the way. Repeat for the other side.
4. Attach the float valve to the new lid.
   The valve may need to be screwed through the hole. Then, attach the provided nut.
5. Plumb your lines.
   This will vary by installation type and location. My machine is directly next to the refrigerator, so I just teed off of the existing water line. I'd suggest installing one of the provided manual shutoff valves near the machine.
6. Install the lid.
   You'll need to maneuver the valve body around the carry handle inside the tank. This is pretty easy though.
7. Install the replacement pins.
   These are a friction fit with enough of the pin sticking out on the inside of the tank to remove them if necessary. You'll need to print two of them.
8. Test it all out.
   Turn the water on and verify that none of the fitting are leaking. Start with an empty tank and verify that the valve closes once near the top. This setup will not keep the tank at max capacity, but that's irrelevant with this setup.
