Modular console rack

Modular, stackable console rack (print as many levels as you want).
This is a simple 3D-printed + wooden dowel rack where each tier is a repeatable module. Print more parts anytime to add more levels and build the exact height you need.

Compatibility

• Fits any console/device up to 7.9 cm in height per shelf (internal clearance).

Hardware

• Wooden dowels: 27 mm diameter (dowel thickness can vary slightly — some may fit tighter or looser; 28 mm has also been reported to work)
• Dowel length: whatever width you want
  • Example shown: 320 mm (32 cm)

Material recommendation

• PETG recommended (tougher and less brittle than PLA for a rack that may be moved/stacked).

Why this design

• Unlimited tiers (stack more modules)
• Open airflow for electronics
• Custom width by changing dowel length
• Quick assembly: cut dowels → press-fit → stack → repeat

Note: If you want it extra sturdy/permanent, add a tiny bit of quick glue / super glue to the dowel ends before inserting them. Adding rubber feet to the bottom is also a great way to prevent sliding.
