I made a European-friendly Modular Filament Drawer System version using 20 mm aluminum tubes instead of ½" or ¾" PVC Pipes.

I liked Licky Lauda's redesigned compact design, so I expanded all the holes from ¾" to 20mm.

Note:

The hole size can be changed on the Prepare page by changing the diameter of the hole cut out on all the plates.

Print one of the small Drawer side clips from Plate 4 to test it out with your tubes.
If the tube and holes do not match, select the “20mm hole expansion” and scale it by disabling the “Uniform scale” and change X and Y values to fit your tubes

This is a modular drawer for filament storage. Each unit can be stacked vertically and horizontally. The size of drawer slides used determines the depth. Check below for the list of fasteners and drawer slides that work with this design. The system uses two frame pieces attached to the drawer slides for the frame. For the drawer, it requires a front, a rear, middle supports, and 20 mm Alu Tubes attached to the drawer slides. The length of the Tubes is the same as the drawer slides. For instance, if using a 50cm drawer slide, you would cut your PVC to 50cm.

Faceplates and Drawer Pulls

For faceplates, there are two options. A standard faceplate is 2/3rd height with 6 screw holes where you can attach a full faceplate (plywood, MDF or similar would work great). A standard faceplate is 2/3rd height with 2 screw holes and doesn't require an additional wood faceplate. You could also 3d print a faceplate to attach to either. The spacing for a drawer pull is 76.2 mm if you don't want to use the included 3d printed drawer pull. The included drawer pull accepts a 25,4 x 50,8 mm label, which is a common size. You can buy pre-cut labels or make your own.
