I figured it was time to start prepping for Halloween, so I created a 6-piece Monochromatic Halloween Coaster Set. The set includes six unique designs: a Jack-O'-Lantern, Witch, Black Cat, Ghost, Spider Web, and Bat. Everything, including the holders, was modeled in Fusion 360. Each coaster is 3mm thick and has a 101.86mm (roughly 4-inch) diameter. I printed them with the design facing down, as I felt this would yield better results, but you can flip them if you prefer. If you have a smooth PEI plate, the design will likely come out even cleaner. Unfortunately, I don't have one, so I worked with the textured finish—which I actually like!
I wanted to add some extra thickness and reduce slipping, so I picked up self-adhesive cork sheets from Amazon. They come pre-cut into 4-inch diameter circles, making them a perfect fit for the bottom of the coasters. At 2mm thick, the total thickness of each coaster comes to 5mm. To store them, I designed a simple holder that displays the coasters vertically, with each one having its own slot. I created two versions of the holder: one with 5.5mm gaps to fit the coasters with cork backing, and another with 3.5mm gaps for those who prefer to use the coasters without the cork sheets. These coasters are the perfect little addition to any household, helping you get into the Halloween spirit in a fun and functional way! I'll provide pictures of both options as well!
