NATO Standard 7.62 Linked Ammo Belt

NATO standard 7.62 linked rounds can be used as a prop, fidget or just for display purposes. Designed to mimic the look of a real ammunition belt while functioning as a safe, flexible toy or display piece. Each round consists of a tapered bullet and cylindrical casing, linked together by flexible, interlocking ammunition links.

For my tests 0.16 layer height looked and felt nicer, but both a .16 and .20 layer height are provided here for you to decide.  The links require support and rims but they were really easy to remove, just be gentle and maybe a pair of long nose pliers will help to get under the links.  If you are patient enough slow down to silent mode for a better finish.

Pictured I used Bambu Lab dark grey PLA for the casing and Sunlu copper PLA for the bullet, the links were printed with Bambu Lab charcoal PLA.

The only decision to make is how long should your ammo belt be ?
