Converts any sheath, pouch, or holster that has a fabric/leather loop into a quick clip-on that snaps onto a belt - no threading a belt through the loop. Works with knife sheaths, multitool/Leatherman pouches, plier holsters, garden-tool sheaths, flashlight pouches, and more.
It's a two-sided "cross" clip:
• Wide side (60 mm) clips over a belt up to ~6 mm thick.
• Narrow side is a U-channel that grips the sheath's existing loop, with a V-shaped retention lip so it doesn't slide off.
PRINTING
• Designed to print support-free. Lay it on the flat side face (where the loop's closed end sits flush with the belt clip) - that whole face is one plane, so it sits flat on the bed with no overhangs.
• Recommended: PETG for durability and a bit of spring in the clips (PLA works but is more brittle).
• 0.2 mm layers, 3–4 walls, 20–30% infill.
CUSTOMIZE (OpenSCAD source included)
All key dimensions are parameters at the top of the file:
• width_belt / belt_height / belt_gap – fit to your belt's width and thickness
• width_loop / loop_height / loop_gap – fit to your sheath's loop
• opening – the pinch gap at the retention lip (tighter = more grip)
• wall – wall thickness
• mirror_slide – flip the loop's opening side for left/right carry
Tune belt_gap and loop_gap first if the fit is too tight or loose, then adjust opening for grip.
