Potentiometer knob (Parametric Fusion 360)

i love the potentiometer and really like all kinds of different knobs for this but when i need them they are all just not the right size or have the right texture to it. so i designed a knob in fusion 360 where you can change the size and height but also the pattern on the side.

if you want a more premium feel, try and print the knob with 100% infill it gives it a little more weight and a much more satisfying feel.

You need Autodesk Fusion 360 to set the parameters. It's free for private use.

Customization

For those who are not familiar with Fusion here are detailed instructions:

Open potentiometer knob.f3d in Fusion 360.

1. Click Modify …
2. … and Change Parameters
3. In the following dialog you can edit the parameters. bear in mind that the shaft is 10mm in this model and the extrusion on the bottom is 5mm.
4. after editing the parameters click OK and see the magic happen.
5. Choose File → export …
6. give the file a name and choose the 3mf Files type.

Print Instructions Premium

• 2 walls
• 100% infill

Print Instructions normal

• 2 walls
• 15% infill
• standard print settings

PLA with .2mm layer height normally works fine.
