This is a so called Rooster Mug. Originating from the russian prisons, it has now made its way into the 3d community!
It has a purely symbolical meaning, not a functional one. The meaning behind it, is that if a person is deemed a rooster he is obliged to take the mug. This means that this person is so lucky and bountiful, that even a hole on the bottom of the mug is not enough to drain them of their unending luck and wealth!
So get a couple of those to your roosters and lets have a merry time!
