Shower drain cover to avoid clogging your shower drain. Fits 42, 45, 35 and 37 mm drains. Let me know if you need some extra sizes.
The model is super simple, cheap and fast to print, using some slicer tricks.
The inner circle has a tolerance of 1 mm on the radius to give it some clearance, if desired it can be scaled using the slicer.
Print instructions:
Set top and bottom layers to 0 in your slicer of choice
Set infill to a 2D pattern (lines, triangles, etc)
Set infill to around 30%
Set perimeters to 5, to ensure the infill is only on the desired parts.
Can be printed with any type of filament, but if used for kitchen sinks (or you shower with really hot water) I recommend PETG instead of PLA.
Set the option “only one wall on first layer” to “not applied”, because it will generate som infill on top layer that will look ugly. Don't know why this option is a default on bambu slicer.
If everything is set correctly, it should look like the following image. The high perimeter count ensures that the part that fits the inside of the drain is 100% solid.
