Rules:
You have tiles numbered 1–12, all starting up (open).
On your turn: Roll 2 dice. Flip down any combination of open tiles that adds up to your roll. (e.g. roll a 9 → flip 9, or 5+4, or 6+3, or 1+2+6, etc.). You must use up the total
One rule: Once all remaining open tiles are 7 or lower, you may roll just 1 die if you choose.
Your turn ends when you can't make a valid combination with your roll. Your score is the sum of tiles still open.
Win condition: Flip all 12 tiles → you "shut the box" and win instantly.
Playing with multiple people one box: Everyone takes a turn, lowest score wins. If someone shuts the box, game over.
Playing with multiple people Multiple boxes: Take turns rolling the shared dice. On your turn, you roll and flip your own tiles as normal. Your turn ends when you can't play a roll, then the dice pass left. Play a set number of rounds (everyone gets equal turns), lowest cumulative score wins. Or just one round each, lowest score wins. The only interesting wrinkle is that you might choose to end your turn early — if you're at a low score with risky tiles still open, you could house-rule that you can "stand" and pass the dice rather than risk busting higher. Adds a little press-your-luck decision makin
