Simplest Raspberry Pi 4B Case

This is a very simple Raspberry Pi 4B case that can be printed without any support material.
It fits most heatsinks and is designed to minimize gaps around the connectors for a cleaner look.
For easy remixing, a STEP file is also included, so you can edit it in basically any CAD software.

Because of the fine details, a layer height of 0.16mm or less is recommended.
0.20mm layers will still work, but attaching or removing the lid might be slightly more difficult.

This case comes in two versions:

Standard version:
Designed with appearance in mind. Ventilation is only on the sides, and there are no holes for the GPIO pins.
This version looks better if you want to keep the case subtly placed in a room.

Enhanced cooling version:
Designed for better cooling. It has additional vents on the top and bottom, and includes holes for the GPIO pins.
This version generally provides better cooling and is recommended if temperature is a concern.

Both versions feature a snap-fit lid, so no screws are required to secure it.
If you prefer extra security, you can also use four M2.5 screws to fix the lid in place.

This case is an improvement over my previous designs for the 3B and 5, with slightly thicker side walls.
Most USB-C and HDMI cables should fit without issue, but in some rare cases, the case might be too thick for certain cables.
For those situations, a version with recessed areas around the ports is included in the print profiles.
Please use that version if you encounter any fitting problems.
