Solderless USB A Female Dupont Connector

This is a simple, practical USB-A female insert designed to make prototyping and hobby electronics easier—without the need for soldering. It allows you to connect directly to the 5V and GND pins of a USB-A device using standard Dupont male jumper wires.

It’s ideal for 5V-only power applications such as Arduino or Raspberry Pi projects. Two guide holes are built into the model to securely hold Dupont wires in place behind the VBUS and GND contacts.

There are two sizes available:

• One fits Dupont connector housings up to 12mm long
• Another fits housings up to 14mm long

The maximum housing dimensions this model supports are approximately 2.75 × 2.85 mm.

The sleeve is keyed to only fit one way and helps lock the Dupont connectors securely in place.

Printed in Bambu Lab PLA Matte for a clean finish.
I haven’t tested PETG or other filaments yet — if you experience adhesion issues, make sure your print surface is clean, and consider switching to “Outer brim only” for better results.

The model includes two pre-assembled parts, making it easy to copy and paste in your slicer.
 

For reference, I’ve printed 10 copies at once without any issues.

Tested with AWG22 Dupont jumpers and a standard USB power source.
