I designed this spacer after experiencing multiple filament purge jams. Several times, the purge material got stuck because the lever that should retract the purge plate failed to move properly. This caused failed prints, and in one case the jam reached the back of the extruder, making it very difficult to clean.
This simple spacer helps keep the mechanism aligned and prevents the lever from getting stuck, improving the reliability of the purge system and reducing the risk of clogs and failed prints.

To install this part, remove the poop deflector first, then place and install the spacer and then poop deflector in its position.
