Stella Octangula Fractal - Level 2 (No Supports)

The Stella Octangula Fractal - Level 2 offers a more detailed variation of the Level 1 design, while remaining easy to print without supports.

This model pairs wonderfully with co-extrusion filaments, enhancing the geometric patterns and bringing out its unique character. Whether you’re a fan of fractals or looking for a fun and efficient 3D print, this design is a great way to appreciate the beauty of mathematical forms.

One fun feature is that you can grab it by its top and bottom corners with your fingertips and give it a spin. There's no mechanism or bearings involved, just gravity at work! However, be cautious, as some edges can be sharp. If your hands are sensitive, wearing a glove might help protect them while spinning it.

This isn’t a traditional fidget spinner with bearings, but it’s a neat way to interact with the design while appreciating its geometry!

Print Settings:

Supports: None
Infill: Gyroid, 10%
Brim: You'll want to use an inner and outer brim to avoid adhesion issues.

FYI - This print takes 4 hours. I also included a 3MF for a BambuLab P1S with a 0.4mm Nozzle and Matte PLA, as seen in the photos. Don’t forget to change the filament settings if you’re using a different kind of filament!

Also, if you scale this model down, it may not slice properly. You need to print at this scale or larger.
