Tape Clamp Dispenser - No AMS
It took a ton of time, testing, modeling, filament and printing to get something like this working just right. So any support helps me keep making and improving stuff. A boost would mean a lot! π
Say hello to the Clamp Tape Dispenser. It's a minimal yet highly functional tool that blends smart design with everyday utility. This clever clamp attaches securely to any overhang surface up to 50 mm thick desks, shelves, workbenches, etc. This clamp dispenser supports tape rolls with a maximum diameter of 55 mm and 20 mm width, making it perfect for most office or packaging needs. It's designed with both aesthetics and functionality in mind, a compact and modern solution to keeping tape within easy reach. ππ
- β οΈ Note: Depending on the surface material, pulling the tape might cause the clamp to slip slightly. Plastic doesnβt offer high friction, so you might need to hold the clamp with one hand while pulling tape with the other. Minor detail but worth knowing! π
The cutting edge of this dispenser uses a scraper blade that comes with every Bambu Lab 3D printer. Itβs surprisingly effective for clean, effortless cuts every time. π₯

π οΈ Materials & Assembly:
- Springs should be printed in PETG for flexibility and durability. PLA is not recommended as it may not last or perform as well. βοΈ
- The whole system is secured with a 5 mm diameter, 40 mm long metal screw (excluding the cap of the screw).

Assembly guide images are included below to help with setup. Even if you're new to hardware projects, youβll get it together fast!

Iβve put a lot of thought and effort into this design, and Iβm excited to share it with you all. I also plan to release upgrades based on your feedback and needs, so let me know what you think! π οΈβ¨
