Twin-Wing Stick

A 3D-printed take on the traditional hair stick. This entry features a three-piece modular design: two symmetrical wing components that clip into one another and a central mounting rod. The interlocking mechanism ensures the wings stay perfectly aligned while providing a strong grip for various hair textures. Sleek, sculptural, and ready to print. All three components are laid out to fit on a single print plate. While this model was successfully prototyped in PLA for its crisp detail and snap-fit rigidity, the design is also optimized for TPU experimentation. Printing the wings in a flexible filament can provide a more organic feel and added durability (I dint have time to test it :<).
