This model is an easy and low cost alternative to conventional metal clips for shake flasks. This was printed using Inland PETG+ on my Bambu labs A1. Hopefully this model will help save time and money if your operation already has a printer available.
The model requires superglue and a magnet that is 5/16" in Diameter and 5/64" thick. The magnets can be found online at https://www.harborfreight.com/10-piece-rare-earth-magnets-67488.html
After printing, the supports will cover the hole where the magnet sits on the underside of the base plate. Remove the supports with pliers or tweezers. Add a dab of superglue to the magnet and push it into the hole. It helps to place another magnet on the other side of the base to keep it still. Make sure the magnets are in the correct orientation to stick to the plate!
Glue the flask arms together securely using a clamp. Once they have dried, the arms can be glued into the slots on the baseplate with additional clamps like the one in the picture.
