Hello to A1 Mini Community,
this is my first upload :)
UPDATE V1.2 OUT NOW!
- added magnet inserts for up to 8x3mm magnets (2 for each plate)
UPDATE V1.1 OUT NOW!
- changed plate tray and plate gripper (if you have printed the mods, you only need to print plate 1 and 2)
- gcode change
Here are all the changes listed:
(plate tray)
- highten by 20mm for more plates
- widen by 1mm for better clearance while pulling
- shorten the alignment dents for better positioning
- added an indent on the alignments for smoother “drop”
- added a slight angle at the front of the platecarrier for better alignment when the plate drops in place (marked as V4)
- changed the positioning hight of the platecarrier to prevent the current printingplate from getting stuck on the loaded plates, which results in a wrong Y-endstop position (marked as V4)
- added magnet inserts for up to 8x3mm magnets (you need 2 magnets for each plate - slide one in from the back and attach one from the bottom) (marked as V4)
(plate gripper)
- scale to 101% (mine were a slight bit to tight and wont grip the plate properly)
- changed the hight of the left and right gripper to accommodate for the new carrierhight (marked as V1)
(y cable cover)
- longen the tail for better cover (the original one is to short, my cable still liftet the plate)
- (I later went for a modded drag chain for aesthetic reasons as seen in the pictures but this thing still worked flawlessly)
(top mount 4 AMS)
>this is the main reason I publish my models. I really liked the work by Nii but still wanted my AMS on the Z post mounted for space reasons. But the original mounting plate does not fit over the AMS top mount, so I had to find a solution. :)
- remix of the AMS holder to one part, shorten it slightly and elongated the front screw hole
- added a spacer plate to fit in between the z post and AMS holder
- added a cable guide for AMS cable
(top mount NOT 4 AMS)
>this is just for those, who might want a stronger (screwed in) top mount
- cut off the AMS mount
- removed the cable guide for AMS cable
(AMS cable cover) (this is not a remix, but it fits into this project, so I just added it)
- covers ams cable and ptfe tube and locks them in place.
- mounts to the original filament holder holes (thats why this does not work without AMS)
ADDITIONAL NOTES!
!!! Due to the changes on the plate trays you need a different gcode !!! (otherwise the plate will just fall out)
