Basalt Column Easel for 12" x 8" picture

Went to Iceland. The entire place is extraordinary. Bought a picture and couldn't just get any picture stand to set it in, so I made this easel to hold it. The design is meant to resemble the Basalt columns found in the lava fields. They form nearly perfect hexagons stacked tight and orderly and look so perfect you might think they were made and not naturally formed. This stand was meant to replicate that look.
