Car Umbrella Style Sun Shade Repair Part

The original seemed to be made of nylon. I printed it in ASA because I already had some on hand. It has a M8 x 1.25 thread which the cap screws into from the shiny side of the sun shade. It was fairly tight but it did screw down all the way. I had the correct sized tap so I cleaned up the threads anyway. It was fastened to the shaft with some small metal pins. You will have to drill new holes or just glue the replacement piece to the umbrella shaft.
