What is this?
A charming, compact bird feeder perfect for small balconies or cozy garden corners.
This is a clean remix of a popular design — I removed the bulky camera slot to create a simpler, more elegant silhouette that focuses purely on feeding your feathered friends.
Features
- Compact Footprint: Fits in small spaces (approx. 14 x 14 x 10 cm).
- Easy Refill: Open design makes topping up seeds a breeze.
- Decorative: Adds a nice architectural touch to your outdoor space.
Print Settings (Outdoor Must!)
- Material: PETG or ASA/ABS. Warning: Standard PLA will warp in the sun and become brittle in UV light. Don't use it outside!
- Walls: 3 perimeters for weather resistance.
- Infill: 15-20% Gyroid.
- Support: Minimal supports may be needed depending on orientation (roof overhangs).
QUICK TIPS
- Hanging: Use a durable outdoor cord (paracord or nylon) to hang it securely. Natural twine rots quickly!
- Drainage: If you live in a rainy area, you can drill a few small 2mm holes in the bottom tray to let water drain out so seeds don't mold.
- Cleaning: Wash it with warm soapy water every few weeks to keep the birds healthy.
