I've been enjoying this model, but after some manipulation, I became a bit frustrated with the handle being loose all the time.
To fix this, I designed a simple latch that holds the handle together during and after shooting. If you appreciate the design, please consider giving it a free boost. I am also happy for any feedback and rating!

To assemble the latch, you'll need the following:
M4x10 - Hexagon Socket Head Cap Screw full thread ISO 4762/DIN 912 (7mm head diameter)
A screwdriver for tightening
Remove the rope hook from your preferred side. The download includes both right-handed and left-handed versions of the latch.
If you don't have M4x10 hex head screws already, you'll need to use them instead of the existing screws in the rope hook's guiding piece.
Place the latch on the cylindrical hole on the handle.
Tighten the original screw. You'll need to tighten it just enough to hold the handle firmly while still allowing the loading mechanism to move freely.
