Easy Funnel V2 (includes 175 STL and 3 profiles)

Three ways to print:

1. Download one of the profiles, print, and go. “Too easy.”
2. Pick one of the 175 included preset STL files. “Nice and easy.”
3. Use the customizer to pick a default design and customize to your own specifications. “Very easy.”

Easy Funnel parametric design lets you create your own funnel by adjusting the size and shape. The customizer includes options for top diameter, height, spout diameter, and wall thickness. Add or remove handle and hopper extension.

Refer to the included catalog of 175 STL under documentation. The catalog lists the file name, options, and dimensions for each preset funnel.

Version 2.0 was fully revamped to make it simpler than the original Easy Funnel V1.0. Parametric OpenSCAD code is included.

Funnel Size Presets:

• Tiny, Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large, XXL Heavy Duty, and Widemouth. 
• To customize just pick a preset and then you use the sliders to adjust. Set the sliders back to zero (0) to return to the default preset.

Available Shapes:

• Round: for standard smooth round shape.
• Fast Funnel - 12 Sided option makes a naturally venting funnel “anti-glug” design. No need for those other designs with built in channels, tubes and ribs. Venting is the main feature that makes a funnel fast and anti-glug.
• Fast Funnel - 6 Sided: provides increased amount of venting.
• Chiselled Style - 19 Sided: give your funnel some flair with a nice looking design.
• Custom Side Count: Customizer can make many numbers of sides from 3 to 180.

Options:

• Spout cut-off angle: Funnels with an angled cutoff of the spout breaks surface tension to stop liquids sticking around. Helps prevent drips (no-drip). Choose your angle from the dropdown list.
• Funnel Handle: Normally a handle is included but can be toggled off as needed.
• Hopper: The checkbox will add a small vertical extension (hopper) at the top of the funnel.

Print Settings

• Material: Minimum PETG recommended, but be sure choose your filament material to suit your usage. Consider temperature and chemical properties and compatibility. For food applications consider using food grade plastics and methods. Funnels should print with no supports and most materials..
• Walls: 3+ perimeters (The customizer adjusts wall thickness based on size, but extra walls ensure it's watertight). Check the slicer has scarf seams options enabled to help ensure a watertight seal without a vertical leak point.
• Infill: 15-20% (only needed for the rim/handle).
• Supports: Generally not required.

Material Selection for Safety

For best results, be sure to choose a filament best suited to your needs. Consider the following when choosing a filament to print your funnel:

• Temperature rating is important if you will be pouring hot liquids.
• Chemical compatibility if you have solvents for example.
• Food Safety if you will using the funnel for handling foods.
• Hardness and resistance to abrasion in case you are pouring solid materials.
• Light duty usage. If the funnel is used only once in a while the above considerations may be of less concern.
• Heavy usage. Consider just tossing out the funnel and printing another. These funnels don’t actually use much filament.
