This stand is designed to hold 13 spools to help with embroidery. It will sit behind your sewing machine.
Special notes:
There are two options for the spool holders. One will break easier since the layer lines are horizontal (this is what I currently use and have printed many hours, I did break one but that was because I dropped the whole stand and one snapped). The stronger option is the split holder that will need to be glued and they really need to be glued properly or you may not be able to fit store bought spool caps.
Nothing else needs to be glued unless you want extra rigidity even though I had no need to do this as it was snug enough for me. The base dovetails are quite snug but shoud go down with a few taps if you have to go that route.
The bottom shelf needs to be installed so that the 3 spools are facing the back of the stand. This allows the 3 spools to not interfere with the spools on the shelf above them.
