Vertical Assembly for Filament Runout Sensor for Ender 3 Max Neo with Mechanical Bypass Access

Why?

Trying to manually change filament color using the "Pause at Layer" option but it's not working? Printer malfunctioning with the M25 (Pause 3D Print) or M600 (Filament Change) commands? Attempting to use M0 (Unconditional Stop) to pull filament out causes the screen to freeze? The sensor is to blame!

The default firmware of the Ender 3 Max Neo has a fault when M0 (Unconditional Stop) is active, triggering the Filament Runout Sensor to change filament. This causes the printer to stay in Homing AND paused mode indefinitely. Power cycling helps, but there's a better solution! With this small bracket, enable M0 and use the tip of a screwdriver to mechanically lock the filament sensor in the "OK" state when replacing filament.

Tip: Practice using this bracket outside of the printer once or twice before doing a live test.

Example of Pause G-code included that works with my E3 Max Neo and this bracket

Enjoy!
