Filament Spool Shelves

These wall-mounted filament spool shelves are designed for durability and practicality. They use evenly spaced 20mm OD steel rods to support the filament spools, with the brackets securely mounted to the wall to evenly distribute the weight.

Materials Needed

• Steel rods: 20mm outer diameter, selected for affordability and availability.
• Wall-mounting hardware: Ensure compatibility with your wall type.
  • For drywall/plasterboard: Use M3 "molly bolts" or equivalent.
  • For studs: Regular screws are recommended for at least one bracket to enhance stability.
• Small screws: These are used to secure the rods to the brackets, preventing any rotation.

Notes

• Rod lengths and hardware may vary depending on your specific setup.
• Holes in the brackets can be enlarged if necessary to fit larger screws or bolts.
