Description:

A complete set of Gridfinity-compatible holders for the Arduino Uno R3, available in both standard 42mm and Gridfinity Mini 21mm footprints. Boards drop in by their edges — no screws, no clips, no fasteners. Use them to organize a workbench, kit out a classroom, or finally get your loose Unos out of the parts bin.

What's included

42mm standard Gridfinity:

  • 1-board holder (1x2 footprint)
  • 2-board holder (1x2 footprint)
  • 3-board holder (2x2 footprint)
  • 4-board holder (2x2 footprint)
  • 5-board holder (2x2 footprint)

21mm Gridfinity Mini:

  • 1-board holder
  • 2-board holder
  • 3-board holder
  • 4-board holder
  • 5-board holder

Each variant is on its own plate, so you can print only what you need. Combined "print everything" plates are also included for each size.

Features

  • Spec-compliant Gridfinity bases (generated from the Perplexing Labs generator) — drops into any standard Gridfinity or Gridfinity Mini baseplate
  • Edge-slot design — boards slide in from above, no fasteners needed
  • Walls flush with the Gridfinity foot for clean, snag-free aesthetics
  • Designed around the standard 1.6mm PCB thickness with 1.8mm slot width (0.1mm clearance per side) — snug fit, no rattling
  • Slots accommodate the USB-B port overhang naturally
  • 10 variants total across two footprint sizes — print exactly what fits your collection

Print settings

  • Material: PLA (PETG works fine too)
  • Nozzle: 0.4mm (standard or HF)
  • Layer height: 0.2mm
  • Walls: 2 (default)
  • Infill: 15% gyroid or grid
  • Supports: not required
  • Orientation: as oriented in the file

The included print profile uses stock Bambu Studio defaults with two small tweaks: seam position set to "Back" for cleaner-looking corners, and top surface speed reduced to 100 mm/s for a cleaner top finish. No special tuning required — should print well on any reasonably calibrated FDM printer.

Fit and compatibility

Designed and tested with Elegoo Uno R3 boards. The Uno R3 is a reference design, so genuine Arduino Uno R3 boards and most other clones (Keyestudio, OSOYOO, generic) share the same PCB outline and should fit.

If you have an unbranded clone with a thicker-than-spec PCB and find the fit too tight, scaling the model up by 101% in your slicer will give you an extra 0.1mm of clearance per side without affecting Gridfinity compatibility.

Which size should I print?

  • 42mm standard: Best for general-purpose Gridfinity workbench organization. Boards sit lower in the holder and the bins integrate cleanly with other 42mm bins.
  • 21mm Mini: Best if you're using Gridfinity Mini for fine electronics organization or have limited workbench depth. More compact footprint, same drop-in fit.

Notes

If you're new to Gridfinity prints, start with the 1-slot variant in your chosen size to verify fit and tolerances before printing the larger variants.

If you find these useful, a like or a follow goes a long way. Happy printing.
