My wife was telling me the other day that she wished she had three hands for some of her sewing and quilting projects. I immediately set about looking for a “donor” to provide the extra appendage, until she pointed out it would probably be simpler and less of a felony to make some sort of magnetic doodad on my 3D whatchamacallit. I love the woman--thus the hearts and flowers--but she sure takes the fun out of things sometimes.
These are meant to hold fabric pieces in place rather than using pins and stabbing herself in the fingers when she's working on a piece while away from home. You could also use them as refrigerator magnets, a Valentine's gift for someone you only kinda like, or any other task that requires a strong magnet in plastic shaped like a flower or a heart.
I'm actually pretty pleased with the daisy design.
Printed in PLA, both on an A1 without an AMS for the single color and on an A1 with AMS Lite for the two color daisy. I needed supports to make the magnet holes print cleanly. And glue to hold in the magnets, which were a gift from the fine folks at Bambu Lab during their Black Friday event.
Enjoy!
