When I upgraded my laser with an extension kit, I needed a laser bed of 850mm x 800mm. Honeycomb beds are insanely expensive at this price point so I made my own bed with a perforated aluminum sheet (8mm square holes) and some 2020 extrusions. These clamps fit in the 8mm square holes and allow clamping down the work piece.

 

These will hold up fine for clamping down your workpiece but make sure you don't hit them with your laser module, they will snap quite quickly then.
