Ioniq 5 cupholder phone tray

The Ioniq 5 has a bunch of open space between the front seats where one might like to put stuff. Here's a model that clips into the cupholders and gives you a nice place for your glasses and phones. 

I created this model from scratch in Fusion360 based on a couple of nice models I found online (see attribution). The shapes of both the base that clips into the cupholders, and the top tray, are mostly the same as in the original models, except I added added slots for phone charging cables. However, all of the details are different, as I tried to make everything flow together as nice as I could (e.g., by adding lots of fillets).

Directions: Printing in PETG seems best, especially if you live in a hot climate. There are a couple of mortices and two square dowels you can use to register while assembling, however you probably will also want to superglue the top to the base just in case. Finally, you will want to use something prevent rattling and to prevent sideways movement, for both the clip and what's on the tray.  Lots of materials can work (e.g., layers of tape), but I found that silicon was best.  You can use a layer of silicon from a tube, but this can get messy.  What I did was buy some silicon sheets (mine were non-slip placemats from Amazon) and cut them up, which worked very well and looked professional.  Finally, the dowels should be a friction fit; if you find them too hard to insert, try running a nail file a few times along the edges, which usually does the trick (although I've once had to use a bit of oil as well when printing another model).

I'm putting the Fusion model here, as well as the mesh files for printing, in case anybody wants to do a remix. In particular, phones have different widths, so yours may not fit. In this case, I suggest using “Split Body” and two offset planes in Fusion360 to widen the middle of either of the left or right sections (the middle is harder to change, because of the registration tabs, etc).
