Your Apple Watch straps should not live in a drawer or a travel case. 

 

They should be on display - so you can make a decision about which one to wear, as swiftly as they are to change.

 

This version fits up to 5 straps - and there's a file for A1 Mini users, which fits up to 4 straps.

The strap holders were primarily made for Apple Watches measuring 42/44/45/49mm (width), but my wife's Apple Watch straps fit nicely too, meaning straps for 38/40/41mm Apple Watches will also fit.

 

PRINTING GUIDELINES:

  1. The strap holder is standing when you load it in. Keep it that way, or you will get overhang issues.
  2. Print with a 5mm brim to ensure bed adhesion.
  3. Save time and print with 0.3mm layer height (that's what I did), or get something nicer looking by going down to 0.2mm layer height. Lower than that is diminishing returns as far as I'm concerned.
  4. Print fairly slowly, or the top part may be warped. Fairly slowly still means a mere 1 hour print. 
  5. To hang it on the wall, I just used nano tape. If enough people want it, I can make a version with screw holes. 

 

Are there versions for just 3 straps? No. I thought of making versions for 3, 2 and 1 - but let's face it: We all own more than 3 watch straps anyway.

 

TIP! Print more and hang them side by side for hanging even more straps on the wall.

UPDATE 2024-06-22:

  • Version 2.0 is up! This version will fit straps that are slightly too wide for the original V1. 
  • The new version has SCREW HOLES for those that want another way of mounting than double-sided tape or nano tape.
    • Using screws is recommended if you have heavy straps; fx. oyster bracelets
  • The new version fits up to 6 straps
