LED Glass Riser Flat, AMS Raiser Low Profile P1 X1

This glass raiser allows to add a LED stripe for better light on the printing bed as well as avoids rubbing of the PTFE pipe on the glass.

This is a remix of “BambuLab Top Glass Riser 4 COB LED Remix with LED Shield” by user dkarjadi (original by user Daniel) on printables with the following improvements:

• slightly adjusted outer size
• 2 cuttings for the cable of the LED stripe
• a mounting base for the cable remote
• a hook for the transition from LED stripe to cable
• generally a greater height
• a reduced length of the bottom lip below the LED stripe for better light gain
• added indents for LED stripe connectors at the corners

This all allows for a very clean and easy installation of the LED stripe. It is connected on the inside USB port of the printer and all cables are stored inside so only the on/off switch / dimmer is on the outside. Also no soldering is required.

The behavior of this stripe is perfect. After shuting down the printer and restarting, the LED stripe restores its status from before. So if it was on before it will be on after the restart. If it was off it will be off again. If it was dimmed it will be dimmed again.

I recommend to print the base parts in PETG or HT-PLA instead of standard PLA in case the temperatures in the printer chamber will be high on day.

The 4 TPU parts would fit on 2 plates instead of 4 plates, but by printing only one TPU part at a time it avoids stringing between 2 parts.

The on/off switch and the connectors are glued to the printed part by a piece of double sided adhesive tape.

I have this installation in use without problems for several months at the time of uploading this model.
