The original design was fantastic. Randy Ubillos thought of EVERYTHING. If you like this model, please take a moment to go to his design to like it, even https://www.printables.com/model/978675-starlink-cable-reel Or if you need a Standard Starlink reel, he has a 15m and a 45m reel ready to go. (Note, mini and standard cables have different diameters, see below)
Features:
- Two-way (dual-directional) Reel- you can make the “tail” any length you want. This was the biggest problem I had with other designs that I tried. I always ended up with a tangled mess when camping because my “tail” length constantly changed. Now I have the tail set to about 10-15 feet and can unwind whatever part of it I need, thanks to the divider.
- Cable Clips- Multiple clips that retain the mini 15m cable.
I only remixed because I had a Starlink mini and spent so much time adjusting the size to accommodate the smaller cord, I decided to share my work to spare anyone else the time. It could probably stand for even more or better modifications. Take a moment to review before printing. I am a novice designer.
Scaled to 66%, then restored M3 screw holes using negative cylinders. Cable clips will retain the Starlink Mini 15m cable. The mini cable appears to be a different diameter than the standard Starlink 15m cable. No bearings in this model, as I couldn't figure out the scaling. The inner handle slides just fine without them.
Hardware: M3 Screws and one M3 heat sink.
