Modular Fan Storage / Organizer System

I have a lot of loss fans all over my workshop, I wanted to have them stored together so I don’t keep searching for the one I need. I searched different sites for one and I could not find a useful design that will work for my needs. So, I decided to make my own.

I came up with these criteria for the design: Expandable (Modular), Economical and Fast to print (Vase Mode)

For me and in order not to reprint the entire thing every time I needed to add an additional fun to the storage system, The design had to be Modular. Harder said than done! Luckily, I didn’t have to reinvent the wheel in this one. I have previously printed orax Parametric Cable Organizer and its was very useful for that. It was designed using Vase Mode so it’s fast and don’t use a lot of filament. I remixed the model to fit the fans and modified it to add cable storage chamber on the side. Added a simple lock / latch so compartment hold to each other securely. And size identification to the sides.

The available fan sizes supported (As of now):

• 40x40x10
• 40x40x20
• 60x60x15
• 80x80x25
• 92x92x25
• 120x120x25
• 120x120x32
• 140x140x25 (1st, Oct, 2024)

I’ll add more as I find the rest of the fans I have, but if you have a specific size (and willing to test print them) let me know and I could put something together.
