No-Glue Magnetic Cable Organizer

Wall or surface mounted cable organizer. Doesn't require any glue. Whole thing prints in under 40 minutes.

Magnets are inserted and friction fitted from the side, no complex assembly required!

Magnetic cable clamps are Self-Aligning! Meaning that you can attach the cables to the base even with your eyes closed if you bring it close enough.

Design Details:

Uses 8mm X 4mm diameter magnets to provide the attraction force.

Tolerance will need to be adjusted based on your magnets or redesigned entirely if you use different magnets.

Designed to be used with cables of diameter between 4-5 mm

Printing Directions:

1. Can be printed with either PETG or PLA.
2. Use 3 walls or higher due to tension on the clamp
3. Print the cable clamps with the magnet hole side up
4. Print the base with the magnet hole facing sideways (Printer will bridge normally)
5. PRINT WITHOUT SUPPORTS

Assembly Instructions:

1. Make sure to put in magnets in correct orientation via the side openings, will be impossible to extract the magnet without destroying it after inserting them as they are friction fitted.
2. Put in the magnets one at a time, alternating between base and clamp
3. If you do mess up the orientation, just use a pair of pliers to break it and reprint.

Mounting to Surface

You can use either M3 or M4 screws to screw the base onto a wall or panel. Alternatively you can use gecko or double sided tape if you don't want to drill into your surface.
